Matcha Origin + Ceremony Quality
Our organic Matcha is grown in Osaka, Japan. Only the youngest, greenest green tea leaves from the first harvest are selected there, so that your Matcha is extremely green, not bitter, and full of antioxidants.

What is Ceremony Quality?
"Ceremony Quality" is the highest grade available for Matcha. It is made from the youngest, greenest green tea leaves and results in a fine, bright green powder that tastes creamy and slightly sweet.
Lower qualities such as "Premium" or "Culinary," on the other hand, are produced from older leaves, have a darker/yellowish color, taste bitter (sometimes fishy), and have an unpleasant aftertaste.
